No, HTML is not allowed. bbcode is allowed and smilies are allowed. Image code IS allowed in regular posts, but not sigs. I wondered if that was causing a problem, but I didn't think that it would.
I've looked through the code to see what I could figure out... My modifysignature template is the original so that is not the problem. I found in profile.php the part where it checks to see if the image code is on or off and displays 'On' or 'Off' in the forum rules box. This part of the code works, as it displays correctly that the img code is OFF: vB code is On Smilies are On [IMG] code is Off HTML code is Off I haven't been able to find anything else so far. I'm hoping to find someone who knows the logic behind this setting so I can know where to look in the code for the problem. I've sorted through several files and can't find where the signature is checked for img code. -------------------------------------------------------- This "doublepost" is an update. I'm glad I don't have this mod on my forum. ![]() I figured out that this is not only affecting signatures... IMG code works all over the forum whether it is enabled or not. I had IMG code enabled on most forums, but when I tested it, images still were allowed even when it was turned off. I don't think anyone will be able to help me... I'll just live with it I guess. I have upgraded several times from version 2, so who knows where the problem is. After 3.5 I lost a lot of mods and only have a few minor ones remaining. |
