I would like to see something added to the points system.

What i am after is where members are given points for posting in certain forums (as usual)

but also where members have points removed if they post in other forums, i know this is possible but the main problem i have are points going into minus, i would like to see an error page displayed when members do not have enough points to post in that forum.

anyone else find this useful?

There is already an error message when they do not have enough points to post in the forum.

You just set the points for that forum to be -5 and it will take 5 points away from the user who posts in there.
