OK, Thing is, I get alot of lurkers. But the 1 thing that bugs me is how do they know were things are on my site? What I mean is, I just intalled a vb shop to sell things but theres no link and know one knows about it yet but I check whos online and theres ppl in the shop. I would like to know how ppl kmow this. Or how guests read PM's from other members or how they can be in threads that are closed.When you check the whos online you can see were they are. I just dont know how they do it. I know what my permissions are to guests.Im jst confused.Anyone know? Some times when I install mods theirs guests in within that hour and I havet put a link or anything up.

It is possible that it may not be guests that have found your new additions but possibly unnamed spiders that are indexing the new parts.

Ohhh ok.Never thought of that.

Edit: Ok, Now I went back after making this post and there are 25 guests all almost downloading files with almost the same IP....All from here when I run a whois check: United States - District Of Columbia - Washington - Performance Systems International Inc

You could ban that IP to prevent this from happening in the future - but that's your choice.
