drop downs not functioning

Please help me trace and fix this problem:

click on "quick links" button on the very top center, should drop a menu but it doesn't.

Same for the search button on the top right under the private messages area, should drop a search box.

Same applies to when clicking on the member's name in profile or threadview (postbit)
