Email disable

Hi

We have problem with mail in mysql server .

we have high load in mysql server and that because the forum send many many emails to users .

Users have more than 100 email every day .

We want know how we can disable every thing and allow only those :
- activation emails .
- restoration new password .
- report about bad post .
