allow mod owner to remove posts

If you made it so the owner of the thread - the user who created the mod - could respond to each post at a later date (like a drop down box stating: "answered / fixed / problem solved / still a problem / bug found / bug fixed / feature addded / won't add feature ") and also the ability to hide the post (a simple minimise like digg.com do with their comments [p.s. i'm about to get someone to work on this as a mod for me, and i shall release on vb.org] )

This would mean, we wouldn't have to read through 5 pages of comments, just to find out whether:
a) the mod still has problems
b) the features we want have been added
(as some of the mods were created in 3.5.0 beta)

so for instance, i wouldn't have to read any of the bugs or comments regarding the mod for version 3.5.0 beta, as the moderator of the forum, or the mod owner has hidden / chosen 'problem solved' for the posts.

What does eveyrone think?
This site has become far too big to allow a feature like this not to be added - it would make modifying a forum a hell of a lot easier!
