vb as a wiki? "VIKI"
this is kinda request as well as a question...
so my question is.....(finally) How hard would it be to, or "how do i..." turn vbull a forum in a wiki? or "viki" ? (as an option). proper. BACKGROUND: I've been wanting and thus following the mediawiki integration thread for a while as Wiki is trend that is not going away and I really want to implement wiki stuff... but also want it to be well integrated with my boards. As I came to use wiki more.. I realized a couple things...
Assuming that the core of a wiki is that its just a web page anyone can edit... all I did is just create a forum where:
the main differences, from user perspective is:
are there really any other major differences? I admittedly I'm not very familiar with wiki... but there isn't much else to it, imo. I don't know about everyone else...but I find wikis totally confusing. and vbulletin functions in a wiki would be a dream. I hate learn new mark languages...even simple ones. anyone wanna take this up as "MOD REQUEST"?? (hey if everyone can go off and make a vbSpaces mod...why not a wiki one? its all php, no?) thoughts? or I am just waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay out there? (entirely possible ) |
