PM Gateway between forums

Hi,

Normaly we use PMs to send them within a forum, now I am looking for a possibility to send PMs into an other forum. Example: User A at forum A want to send a PM to User B at forum B.

Is this possible? Unfortunately my PHP knowledge are poor, so I can't realise it.
