I have a site which is not yet integrated, visually, between a few html pages and my vBulletin site. To address this I have a need to do the following in the very short term:

(1) Replace a GIF logo at the top of my vBulletin site with a Flash version (a Flash developer is helping me create this now and I have not yet seen it).
(2) Introduce a new navigation bar that appears in same location across html and vBulletin pages alike (Flash-based preferred for navbar).

I suspect that #1 is very simple - edit the header template and replace GIF link with SWF link, or something like that.

I am a little fuzzy on how to actually implement the second item such that the new navbar appears at the top (or maybe left-hand side) outside of the vBulletin stuff. I suspect that, however we actually do it, we will probably need to retain the vBulletin navbar as a secondary navbar for the more forum-specific areas.

Does #2 necessarily entail introducing new code to my vB templates, or can I "wrap" something around my vBulletin site?

I am looking for a solution that is simple and elegant, if that is at all a possibility. Links to existing documentation on this subject and examples of similar implementations would be *very* appreciated, as well as any general suggestions etc.
