Conditional For New Posts?

Question, is there a way to set up a conditional so that threads from a specific forum are not included in the New Posts when a user clicks it?

I have a forum that I used to use a custom usergroup for, however, that was blocking spiders and whatnot as guest were not able to view that forum.
