As for actual gas prices, well... I guess the days when gas was less than $3 might be something we'd tell future generations...heh.
In Tennessee, we were told gas would hit $5.00-$6.00/Gallon last time the prices were to spike (a month ago now), they never rose above $4.00 (which is high, but there's a difference). To be honest, I don't think they would have went that high had the media not given the prices so much attention.
We've settled down quite a bit and the prices are now under $3.00 for regular -- I think it's around $2.79-$2.80. If they do choose to double it, I'll be hitting the bike .
