My PC Specification

I am starting to run a forum for pc newbies and new builders, and was woundering if someone could produce a hack/addon/plugin that will get members to fill in a list of pc spec on signing up.

the list if possible include the following

O/S
CPU
MOBO
MEM
HDD
DRIVES
INTERNET CONNECTION

Or have it that these list can be set in admincp.

could a icon be places in the postbit that when clicked on will display their spec, this would be ideal for see what members have when they report a problem, or could be used on other forums as a show off addon.

i have a icon for the postbit if needed
