Last week's terrible bombing of the Red Sea resort of Sharm El Sheikh in Egypt was another in a line of attacks orchestrated by Islamic extremists either forming part of or connected to (even loosely) the Al-Qaeda radical movement.

Whether the attack took place on the direct orders of Al-Qaeda in some other country or was the work of an autonomous Egyptian affiliate organisation is not important. In fact the responsibility for the terrorist attacks was claimed by the Abdullah Azzam Brigades of Al-Qaeda in Egypt.

What is important is that there have been a number of terrorist attacks lately in various parts of the world by Islamic extremists who have similar goals, that of causing a clash of civilisations between the West and Islam and of overthrowing moderate, secular Muslim governments.MORE HERE

The bombers in England "lived there" too. How does that make it any different? Al Qaeda will target any non muslims no matter who or what they do or don't support. They even hit the peaceful muslims in England that don't fit into there extreamist ilk. There doesn't have to be a "war" anywhere. They will try to start one if there isn't, preferably on non muslim soil.
