Minor design issue

I have a couple of things i would like to change with my board - www.hostcompanies.com/forums . I only recently upgraded to vb3 and i am still trying to get around all the features available.

This is what i wish to change.

1) If you visit - http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=56 . At the bottom of the threads you will see the display options. I want to increase the gap between Sorted by: and From the:

2 ) Also in the same page you will notice at the bottom of the page the quick style chooser ( which also contains... contact us, web hosting search.. etc ). I want to keep this the same execpt but get rid of the border line that seperates the quick syle chooser and the contact us.. links. So i only want a border outside of the table, not in the table cells.

Any help appreciated
