Need help with some html

I have a shoutbox rinning on my forum, with html enablem. The problem is that it looks rather ugly that way, but it looks even uglier wihout iframe. I'm not very good with tables, and stuff like that, but what i need to change is the way that the bit with shouts looks. The screenshot shows the way i have it now. I want the grey part around the shouts bit (see the arrows) dissapear, but apparently i had no luck trying that myself. The only example of how this has been done already is the Game Zone Evolution Forums ( http://www.gzevolution.net/forums/ ). Please help me to fix that!

PS: the whole part of the shoutbox template on FORUMHOME is also attached, in case it helps.
