Custom Permissions in 3.5
Has anybody played with adding custom permissions yet? In 3.0.x, that was one sure way to complicate the hell out of a hack was to try to mirror vbulletin's default permissions (see my post as anonymous hack, for example)
Has this improved with 3.5? Can we set up a new permission, such as the ability to post anonymously, and then easily set it up for various usergroups, users, forums, etc.? Or, do we still have to go through the torture of adding to bitfields.
More basically, do we have to modify jelsoft's files to add custom permissions or can it be done using the hooks?
