Marking Threads As Read

I seem to have a problem.

As I browse my forums, lets say I read all the 'new' topics in a forum. Then I click to the index. The forum I just left will show new posts. I go back into the forum, and there are no new posts. I exit back to the index, and bingo, the forum shows no new posts.

Also, if I post a thread, then click out of the forum, it will show my post as being a new one, even though I just made the post.

I have turned "Update Thread Views Immediately" to yes and it still didn't fix the problem.

Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.
