Fix Broken user profile

Is there a way I can stop the need for this? Like some way users can stop appearing as guest on my forum? I have so many hacks I was told this was a price to pay for it. But I get about 20-30 new users ever few hours and I purge alot of lurkers so alot of them just come back and I have this problem so often.
