Mass prune forums if certain words in threads?

Hi there,

I'd like to have a mass prune on all my forums, basically deleting any thread containing certain words. We are having a mass profanity clear out!

How could this be done, would it need just a big mySQL query or a bit of a hack?
If possible it would be nice to keep a private archive or backup of all the deleted threads, for future reference.

Any help appreciated.
