The case of the missing smilies?

Hi,

I have lost the all the smilies and the smilie box that appears when you post a reply or add a new thread. It is for a friends board, the last hack installed was the store hack and the version am woking on is 2.2.9.

I have installed the store hack many of a time and some of the other hacks, but the smilie box is MIA.

Any solutions?

Appended - I see them when I go to by an action in the store they are in the proper place. They smilie box seems to ne missing only when being used to reply to a post or new thread. The store is showing it.

I am guessing its a problem with newreply or newthread?

any help- would be awesome

I dont want to have to reinstall
