Interelated...Accounts!?
I have a Massive Role Playing Game in development and while coding it, I am also wanting to go ahead and get the account stuff taken care of for the site. I want to base all the accounts off the one mysql database. Heres what I want to do...
I have the VBulletin forum account, Site account (where they can login on the site and see special stuff) and the game account where they play with it. Heres where the problem comes in...well the main problem is im new to coding in PHP and MYSQL but the others are this.... I want to do it so the player uses the "Create Account" portion of the site to make an account. This automatically gives them an account that will let them play the game and login on the main site. How hard would this be? My other question is what is an easy way to view the MySQL database? I want to actually see it visually, I think that may help me while learning PHP and MySQL. |
