Random E-mail Advertisement hack.

Ok, I can't seem to find this, and was wondering if it could be done. I would be willing to give free advertisement for a few months to someone who can do this.

I'm looking for a way to add a bit of code into they e-mail that goes out when people receive a reply. I can add the ad in manually, but would like a random add to be displayed. For example I can put in the e-mail :
$emailad
And it would pull out a text ad from x amount of ads stored in the database.

Maybe have a section in the admin part where you can put the ads content. Like This message is brought to you by XYZ.com where they always have ..... Maybe have it where the admin can specify how many ads the code can pull from. I'm looking at 3 or 4, but other admins may want more or less.

I hope I'm being clear enough on this. Is this possible, or has it been done?
