Signature control hack

I need a hack that controls how big of an image somebody can putinto their signature. We want a 500x100 limit on it. And we would also like it, that if they do input an image that is bigger than 500x100 for a message to show up in their sig saying that the image is too large. I hope this can be done. Thnx
