Dave is correct, the only exception being you cannot run 3, 4, and 5 at the same time so choose wisely!
- vBulletin 5 is a great standard forum. If you love it how it looks and functions on www.vbulletin.com/forum then it will suite your needs just fine. - If you want to customize your forum with all sorts of new features then vBulletin 3 or 4 would be a better choice as there are countless free and paid mods (can find via google) that simply do not exist in vB5. - vBulletin 4 would be the better choice in my opinion IF customizing. Another way to sum it up: IF you simply want to spruce up the style and change some colors and you're not doing anything outside the norm... again, vB5 is a great standard forum and it does a good job. IF you want to go "buck wild" as it were, then 3 or 4 is your best option with myself recommending the latter. |
