I admit that I am kind of old fashion and still make website using good old html. However the trend seems to be is going with cms. I have been using forums with vBulletin for years.

The issue is when doing html websites is compatibility with both desktop and mobiles without making separate mobile versions for each website, which s kind of a pain.

Google I understand is penalizing sites that are not mobile friendly.

I did a test run with wordpress as a cms but not certain I want to actually use that.

Question is what is everyone's opinion on vb cms? I have also read complaints in regards to vb5 seo features? what is the low down in regards to seo isssues some are bringing up?

I upgraded to vb5 in regards to forums I have. what is the differences between vb4 / 5 in regards to cms. I do have a 2nd license for vb 4, but only one vb5 license, if I go with vb5 separate instance in regards to use with cms I should be able to set it and design it with it turned off? and did upgrade another license to vb5 when I finish the design?? How easy is to change the license on the files after it is designed, just do not have the cash to spare right now to buy the upgrade if I should go with cms on vb5 now. but could do it in a month or so but would like to work on cms options design now.

My main complaint with vb 5 right now is there is not a lot of addon / plugins being written for it yet.
