vB.org Forum Portal

Hi all,

I'm looking for a modification (or a feature I've not found?) that vB.org has as their portal page when entering the site. Check the following link:
- https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/portal.php

It has the forum updates on the right, and then has the polls etc on the left. Is there a modification that can achieve this or will I need to make my own template with my own vb powered file like in the tutorial created by Gary King (link here)?
