Adding picture upload for Forum category

Hello,

I would like to upload picture for main forum category and then want to display it in the home page. Like it is showing in this site http://www.adslgate.com/dsl/

I am using vbulletin 5.

I think i need to add a file to store the uploaded picture in the "node" table but i don't know the exact process of doing. Can you please provide me the steps required to do the change i need.
