Adsense/adblock script with vbulletin?
Hello,
I've seen several sites that detect adblock and kindly ask the user to disable it to support the website. I would like to intregate this onto my vb forum. The most common responses to this question (as i've been searching for solutions for a few hours) are; Quote:
Please don't give me this. It's my forum, my website, I do what I want on it. A small image with some text isnt going to hinder the browsing experience, anyway. Not to mention it's simply a request, if they don't like it they are free to visit another forum that doesnt have this. Anywho, to get down to the point.. i've seen reddit with this, wallbase.. and some others. I've found the code (or so I think) that does this, but I have no coding experience so I dont know how to make it work with vbulletin. (I'm currently using VB 4.2) This is the script i've found on wallbase; Code:
<div class="dontblockpls"> <script src="http://static.wallbase.cc/front/6/js/areas/home.js"></script><script type="text/javascript" async="" src="http://www.google-analytics.com/ga.js"></script><script async="" src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/adsbygoogle.js"></script> <!-- wbcc-home --> <ins class="adsbygoogle" style="display:inline-block;width:728px;height:90px" data-ad-client="ca-pub-2509768188512843" data-ad-slot="2059058536"></ins> <script> (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); </script> </div> Any help would be appreciated, I have searched google for hours and hours with no result, so I figured this would be the best place to ask. Thank you. |
