Blog Redirect help please

Hi guys,

Im having a bit of trouble getting my blog setup for my CMS. everything has been going ok with it, but I decided I wanted to change the directory from www.vivapotenza.com/blog.php to blog.vivapotenza.com.

on my server, my vbulletin files are installed on a directory called "httpdocs", and the blog files are installed on the root of this (but not in a folder, so directly on the root). As i say, i had it running the standard way and it all worked ok.

I added the following code to my .htaccess file, which is also on the root:

RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} -f [OR]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} -l [OR]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} -d

RewriteRule ^.*$ - [NC,L]

RewriteRule ^blogs/.* blog.php [QSA]
RewriteRule ^entries/.* entry.php [QSA]

I also uploaded a crossdomain.xml file to my root, with the following code in it:

finally, I uploaded the following code into a file called vb_dir.php in my root:

Needless to say, its not working at all, and I dont know what if any errors lie in the coding above? can anyone offer any guidance please?
