Using "Recent CMS" block outside of the sidebar
Hey everyone,
I'm still fairly new to the idea of hooks, but I know they are needed in order to use certain functions in different templates. So on our forum, we list the CMS link as a forum in our Forum Home listing. You can see it here at the very bottom (Library) : http://psychopathfree.com/forum.php Right now, I'm just doing an awful way of manually changing the "Last Post" HTML in forumbits template each time a new article is submitted. What I would love is to have this updated automatically using the Recent CMS Articles sidebar block, which gives all of the information perfectly! But copying the code directly from block_cmsarticles obviously doesn't do anything, assuming because I need to do some hooks. Could someone point me in the right direction here? Thanks so much! |
