"What's New" link directly to "New Posts"?

"What's New" link directly to "New Posts"?

I just upgraded to 4.2.0 (from 4.1.11) and REALLY hate how they changed the "What's New" to default to this annoying "Activity Stream".

Can anyone provide easy instructions (or know of a mod) that will make it so that when you click on the "What's New" link it will go directly to the "New Posts" (similar to how it worked before the activity stream.)

Technically speaking, I want for the "What's New" link on the main forum page to go to search.php?do=getnew&contenttype=vBForum_Post instead of activity.php
