how to use Strip_bbcode function?

Hello guys,
I need to strip bbcodes from my posts database and couldn't find any manual how to use Strip_bbcode function to do it! and so afraid to mess things up.

could any one please help me out in doing it?
and, i want to leave the img and url s without striping it and strip all the rest of bb's, could this happen?
