Error in my Database

I keep getting this error emailed to me:

Invalid SQL:
SELECT

INNER JOIN thread AS t ON p.threadid = t.threadid
WHERE a.userid=1;

MySQL Error : Unknown column 'a.postid' in 'on clause'

However the forum seems to be functioning fine?

Any suggestions?
