I have researched this, but I have not found a clear cut way of this this. I don't understand it.
I belong to another website and posts lots of items. Since VB3 is so hard at posting pictures what I want to do is just grab the HTML code from the other website and post it. However, I only show the code (the images and the other HTML code shows up), not the actual pictures and text without the code. I know there is an option to allow HTML code, but everyone says NEVER to allow it. So... 1. Is there a way to only allow the admin (me) to post HTML code? (thus preventing a security risk?) 2. Where exactly do you make the changes? Is it located in more than one place? 3. Lets say only the admin can post HTML, is there a risk that someone could break in and harm the website? I am using VB 3.8.5. Example: Code:
<p>+</p> <p>I am a famous ship, who am I?</p> <p style="text-align: left;"><img alt="" src="http://api.ning.com/files/zuqojO*gM6wfdZ*UcqXww*fYlSkV0YeOVS*DPemIM72H-48eCi5IQnfOjq3OoMJK25h9OqobpLTyS3zV3dVVraoXyOj*deTU/USS_arizona.jpg" /></p> <p style="text-align: left;"><img alt="" src="http://api.ning.com/files/iWRrN4r1pN1CG6r1U8oYiC2*euusGuQzmFlh68CinAAEVgADh4myU5Rf5gpMPnpUEzpqnXEHO8b3H4-LbJ8*jcYmBlb20t5X/ussarizonaburning.jpg" /><br /> I am the USS Arizona (BB-39)<br /> <br /> |
