How - Last 3 posts forum selected forums on home page?

Whats up,

I am currently displaying on my home page
(its a non vb page) - Users Online & last
5 Calendar events.

I used to be able to display
thread on my non-vb home page
BUT when a new vesrion of VB
cam out - it dident work any longer.

I was wondering if anyone knew the code to
display several 'last posts' in a few
selected forums?
