Your community becomes an active part of the vast vBulletin Social Network, promoting your site to ... people who are using the vBulletin app to access other vBulletin forums
In other words: this app will not only promote your forum, but also will promote other forums to your members. Many of those forums belong to Internet Brands.
It is unclear to me if Internet Brands will have access to the user data that this app mines, but it seems likely.
In general I think that the idea of promoting your site to facebook members is good, but the above looks like data mining by IB/vBS.
