I have had godaddy hosting for years. Last year I "upgraded" to their grid hosting. The upgrade went smooth, but then my directory didn't work. Aghh! Long story short, they blamed it on my script, and I knew it wasn't. So for a month, it didn't work, then one day it started working! My point being, godaddy's service isn't bad at all, but when you need support, they always find ways to pass the buck.
I am new to VBulletin, upgraded from SMF. I love Vbulletin. I went to use Foromail, which I think is great, but was not able to use it because I kept getting imap errors. Maria, the programmer told me it is cause imap is disabled in PHP and to contact my hosting to turn on.
So I called godaddy, and after 20 minutes arguing with the support guy that I was not talking about regular email IMAP (hahaha), he finally sent me to tier 2 support, and the guy new what I was talking about. He said that imap is disabled on shared hosting accounts due to security!!
AGHHH! If it isn't one thing it is another with godaddy. So I am looking at JaguarPC for managed VPS server. Their pricing is good, and it is managed, so I was wondering if anyone here had actual experience with them and how was it?
