Table page

I have some 700 items I'll be selling on my forum, each unique. I can build the back end, but I need a front end. Navbars, forum logo, etc. aren't needed (but would be nice). The table needs to have a dynamic number of rows. I can figure out and fix the number of columns based on usergroup. A standalone php page and template is what I need. Should be simple, but I'm having a bear of a time figuring out how to modify showthread.php or forumdisplay.php to do what I need. Please help!
