The main difference between the vBforum and the vBsuite is that the suite package will serve as a full-featured web publishing platform to build your website on. So you're not limited to creating a discussion board but also a powerful content management system. The blog mod can be disabled if you don't need it for the time being, and it may come handly at a later date.
You can embed youtube videos in vBCMS articles by using the following code line (out of the box, no additional mod installing is required):
