Custom presentation of News Articles in the CMS.

Dear all,

I would like to request or someone is able to create the following block for the CMS, I've been struggeling with it for quite a while now and I can't seem to figure it out. As to say a picture sais more then a 1000 words.

The idea is a compact list of news items sorted by time of submission listed with ammount of comments, and the last two articles who a little of the content of the article. The screenshot is from tweakers.net a dutch website.

PLease let me know or someone is able to create this, I bet it will be a killer release in the mods section here as well.
