Any "side column" mods yet?

I need a way to display a side column on either the left or right side for each vbulletin area (forum home, threadlist view, post view, members list, etc, etc, etc) that cannot be closed. I cannot upgrade to vb4 until I have this ability so I'm really hoping that somebody creates something soon - if it hasn't already been created.

Any luck?
