TBO it seems the ones on here lately were possibly registered by a real person then put on auto-pilot. I think you do fine here as well and I barely have to report spam posts only when it's between hours for admin to be on i.e. different timezones.

I use:

• Re-captcha
• New profile field regular expression
• NoSpam

Cuts it down by 99% on all the forums I work on unless a human registers then places the bot on autopilot .
