(CMS) Custom Content Types

Hi, I'm trying to upload my content to the vBulletin CMS and I'm looking for advice on the best way to do it.

I have large quantity of text files (60 000+) and was considering using each as an "Article". Is there a way I can easily add them to the CMS?

I found this article and have been considering custom content types for this data. Are there any plans to support custom content types officially in future updates?
