Have a problem/idea, need help/comments/suggestions.
Alright so our website is a local motorcycle group in Phoenix and we have a lot of people on the boards that although active, hardly ever show up to events; if ever. These people are usually the trash talkers or are on the site just for entertainment, and not really what it's for. It is intended as a place to meet people to ride with; with really the online forum part of it being secondary.
Now, picking these people out myself would be difficult as there are some events that I myself cannot make. Also, it would be a little ambiguous of me to say "alright you don't ride, cya!" If I could set something up like what I am looking for below, I could set a standard. So, I was wondering if there was a way, either in programming or by an existing add on, that would let users who post events and have RSVP's to come back and check off the people that actually showed up. Then in the users postbit, it would show "Rides Attended: 7" or something of that nature. Something like this could be used on other sites as well. Such as "Raids Attended: 2" on a WoW site, for example. Any ideas, comments, suggestions, pointers, would be appreciated. Thanks! |
