OK, well, I didn't actually try this, but here's a section of your template that I took a stab at. The parts in red have to do with the collapsing button, so you want to remove those. The parts in blue are table cells that you can copy and paste to make two copies, and that should give you two cells. The parts in yellow need to change - the colspans from [S]2 to 3[/S] 2 to 4 (as you mentioned below), and the widths from 100% to 50%. (ETA: well, that would give you two equal cells which may not be what you want).
