Edit feature no longer works since upgrade

Can I please get some help I recently upgrade my site to the latest version of VB and now the edit feature no longer works in any of the threads. No errors just that if you click the edit button nothing happens. I wen to vb.com and they told be to test a couple things and once was to disable the plugins which I did and the edit button worked, I reverted all my templates when I upgraded and started installing some plugins that I needed and works with 3.8.x but there must be some old plugins that are causing conflict, so I can I fix this or figure our which plugin is causing me issues?
