How do you Box of Catagories

Hi There,

Have been looking to try and find out how to individually box off my Catagories? Similar to the VB.org home page
I want to have Catagory, followed by my sub forums in a little box, Then a space, another box with next catagory and subforums etc.

Currently mine seems to be one long list, cat & subforums, Cat & subforums etc

Thanks for any help you can give on this
