I also use Wordpress along with the Wordpress/vBulletin bridge mod to power the homepage of my forums. It delivers a lot more functionality because there are limitless WP plugins you can install. And as Loco.M mentioned, it's great for SEO (when combined with the All-in-one SEO pack).

vBadvanced is very limited in my book and it's a challenge to skin. For simplicity's sake, I recommend going with Wordpress!
