Hiding Smilies

I have a lot os milies on my forum and was wondering if there is any way to hide them. I tried 0, but it acts like a 1 instead of hiding.

When I click on the "more" the smiley page takes a long time to load. I'd really like to be able to hide some, such as the Christmas ones.
