I edit postbit, but it basically refreshes really fast when I save. Help?

I don't know what happened. I went to edit postbit, and when I hit save the template reloads really fast. The code I entered is displayed in the template as if it saved, but when I go to my boards and click on a post, it doesn't display anything new. The same old postbit template. I've even taken everything out of postbit and saved. It allows this to happen, but when I look at a post, the same old postbit is there. In other words, my postbit is just not updating.
